An IRS Taxpayer Assistance Center will be open on Saturday and on Feb. 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Clinton Avenue and North Pearl Street to assist area taxpayers who are eligible for the Earned Income Tax Credit.
The EITC is a refundable credit that can result in a refund of more than $4,800 for eligible taxpayers in the area.
Taxpayers with incomes below $41,464 may be eligible to claim the credit, depending on their filing status.
